British Agricultural History Society  Forthcoming Conferences, 2008-9 The Society's Winter Conference 2008 will be at the Institute of Historical Research, Senate House, London WC1 on Saturday 6th December.   The theme is  climate, weather and rural society. The full conference programme and booking form are available from this link The Society's Spring Conference in 2009 will be at Northampton  from  6th to 8th April. If you have a paper that you would like to give at the conference, please get in touch with John Broad .  If you are a postgraduate researcher who would like to be considered for the 'new researchers' session, please also get in touch with him.
Current postgraduate research students who would like to apply for a bursary to cover the cost of the Spring conference should contact the Society's Secretary,  John Broad who will give details of how to apply.  The last date for applications is 1st March.  A limited number of bursaries are available, and the Society will judge application on the basis of likelihood to benefit, and the  relevance of their projects to rural/agricultural theme.
