Ah, I see what you mean. General point taken, but the few dated extracts from the returns which I have suggest that the questionnaire was circulated in December or early January. Anyhow, many thanks, but the initial question remains: anyone know where a copy of the questionnaire can be found.

The results of a quick newspaper search.

The Chester Chronicle on 29 Sept. 1843 reported that the annual meeting of Denbighshire and Flintshire Agricultural Society had been shown an Annan Plough. This suggests novelty, but it also appears to be the only reference in the newspapers in 1840-1844!

LIBRAL would like to enlarge the run of its volumes of Dairy World. The BL holdings run from 1898 through to 1939: one assumes that that is the total period the journal published.
